About Us

Our Story

Growing up in Bokaro, Jharkhand, I was surrounded by women in cotton sarees—their grace, their stories woven into every drape. But it wasn't until my research journey into handloom that I truly understood the artistry behind these textiles.

In March 2021, I visited the weaving cluster of Raghunathpur, where I witnessed the magic of Matka and Tussar silk coming to life on traditional looms. Watching the weavers' skilled hands transform raw silk into exquisite fabric, seeing the natural dyeing processes that have been passed down through generations—I was captivated. That visit planted the seed for Syutikargha.
