Collection: BANDHINI

The art of Bandhani prevalent in Gujarat and Rajasthan, is a tie-and-dye technique on fabric, done by lifting or plucking the cloth merely by fingernails, and binding it with thread before the fabric is dyed. An intricate Bandhani done in the ‘Bharti’ (fill with knots) style, would have small, dense and fine dots, across the fabric. In the ‘Sarkam’ technique, dots are created in a continuous line or formation to create patterns.
