Chanderi saree have silk warp and cotton weft. Chanderi, a small town of about 30,000 inhabitants, lies in the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh. A weaving cluster where over half the town’s population is engaged in hand loom weaving of sheer, gossamer-thin sarees from silk warp and cotton weft.
